You might have noticed some obvious changes here and there, starting with the shoutbox up to the structure/names of some boards. We tried to slim the forum down again, making it a warmer place again. Head of this project called "Salute to Old Memories" was and still is Nincompo0p who recently got promoted to an Administrator. Along with YoMikitty, MiniMoniHime and me, we discussed about some necessary changes.

Here a short list of what happened:
- Shoutbox visible in forum index again (hope for more spam in there)
- One board for all news, H!P and Japan. Both on the frontpage now.
- All Picture and Talk Topics got merged. (less topics create the illusion of more activity)
- Wonderful Hearts, Elder Club and Inactive Acts are now subboards instead of primary boards.
- More focus on the Research Lab and Polls.
- The Offtopic board got cleaned a bit and might see some more organization in the future.
- For those who didn't know: Offtopic posts count since February!
- Music & Entertainment Social Club got slimed down, several boards merged.
- Members Club can now be accessed with 10 posts only.
- Members Club now has multiple primary boards instead of subboards.
- Exchange Students got moved a bit to the bottom. Sorry for that, but please keep that board active.
- Some renames of boards and categories.

I will maybe also add some more emoticons in the near future.

H!P University revamped rank system

Level 01 - Green Heart

- Newbie = 0-09 posts
- Freshman = 10-49 posts
- Junior = 50-99 posts
- Senior = 100-149 posts

You get your first heart once you reach the senior level. With this green heart, you are able to enter the hidden boards of H!P-University. Yes, this means that the restriction level has been lowered again. The green bar symbolizes your admirable way of a user who just registered to an accepted member of this community. You can be proud about your first heart, but it's only a very pale heart. There is a lot more to find out, don't become lazy!

Level 02 - Blue Heart

- Senpai = 150-249 posts
- Graduate = 250-399 posts
- Junkie = 400-599 posts
- Expert = 600-999 posts

The "H!P-" tags have been removed. You are not yet worthy to wear be a H!P. Why? Because there have been added a few more ranks later own. You have to gain yourself a H!P rank. However, as an expert you are already worth a second heart. This time you get a blue colored one next to your pale greenish one. What are the benefits? You can call yourself an expert, that's it.

Level 03 - Red Heart

- Professor = 1000-1499 posts
- Mowota = 1500-2499 posts
- H!P Egg = 2500-3999 posts
- H!P Kid = 4000-5999 posts

The formerly special red head is now harder to get. Although there are no special hidden boards you can access with a red hear anymore, but it's your first step into the H!P kingdom. Yes, that's right. After stepping up to a professor (prof.) and then becoming one of the world's finest mowota, you slowly transform into a part of H!P yourself. You can't start right from the top, of course. Your journey inside of H!P begins as an infamous H!P Egg. However, if you work hard enough and get recognized by tsunku, you can easily become a H!P Kid without a problem. As H!P Kid you get your red heart and are allowed to dance in the front during the Wonderful Hearts concerts. There is only one thing you still lack, a group.

Level 04 - Yellow Heart

- H!P °C-ute = 6000-7999
- H!P Berryz = 8000-9999
- H!P Musume = 10,000-14,999
- H!P Owner = 15,000-

You've made it! You became a part of °C-ute, but that isn't enough, right? You are ambitious, you want more. That's why you work harder. This time it's much longer and harder way, but you might get the chance to step up from °C-ute member to Berryz Koubou. That you have been able to achieve that already shows that you have more than ordinary skills. You are special, you are amazing, you want to be Morning Musume. Since you have showed the world that you've got, the way to become a Musume won't be much harder than becoming a Berryz. Then, after various years of infinite stardom and money, you start to look into your future. What do you want to do when you are old? As die-hard H!P fan who made it from the slums to Morning Musume, you obviously only have one chance, one wish left. You take over H!P and get your fourth heart. We are so proud of you, really.

Our big 2008 update

Maybe not THAT big, but still worth some notes.

01 - Layout

As you can see, not only a new header, no, a complete new design. With the change of the layout I also did some changes in the structure. Yes(!), the shoutbox can only be seen at the portal. This is to guide more people into the chat. You can't miss it! (top-right, if you did..)

02 - Profile

Woohoo! Completely customizable profile page!
You can upload pictures, add clips (embed codes), add your complete bio and interests (use bbcodes for simple customization.)
There is a buddy feature that you can organize in your profile.
On the right sidebar you can also find a little menu (below the poll) to get to some options faster.

Nice little bonus:
You can add own CSS/html to customize your profile completely! (like on myspace, veoh ..etc .. but a bit tricky..)
However, don't try to simply use myspace themes, they might screw your profile!

04 - Chat

mib.chat ~ I added a new link/button for those who dislike/can't use mIRC and/or dislike/can't use JAVA.
You don't need any plugin, script or wuteva'!
Click on it, (don't block popups!), change the nick and connect (don't close, it takes a few seconds.)
Server and channel are already edited for you. Enjoy~

05 - Stats bugged

When clicking on stats at the stats block (left bar)...

..you can now see the top10 posters of today and this week (starting by today.)

06 - Users Logged In Today

When you are in the forum, scroll down and you can see a "Users Logged In Today" list.
This shows all people who visited and logged in today (not counting guests).

08 - News on Frontpage

Only a minor change, but I limited the displayed characters per news on the frontpage to 4000. This only means that, if you want to read all news, you have to click on the news and read it inside the forum. While you are already there, WHY NOT MAKING A COMMENT? If I keep on seeing 1 or 2 comments only, my motivation to work 30-60min each day for the news might drop very soon.

09 - Rearrangement of Boards

Did some moving around. What do you think? Complaints? Ideas?

10 - Board Icons

Changed the board icons and what style symbolizes what status.
= new posts
= no new posts
(normal pic =  no new posts, the Reina pic is only an example)
There are no gray icons anymore! Don't get confused!

To see where exactly the new posts are (if there are childboards only):

This topic is to summarize all existing commands.

Ask a question that only can be answered with yes or no. A H!P girl will then answer it (or at least tries..).

Tell them what to do. A random H!P girl will then either do it or not. Try you luck. No special triggers for certain 'wishes' yet...

1st Anniversary

Over the last days I already added some new features to provide a better site.
For the anniversary I don't plan to make any major changes to the forum, but maybe you can come up with some nice ideas for the site or whatever.

By the way, when should we start the celebration?
